The Bambu Lab Automatic Material System (AMS) is a groundbreaking add-on that unlocks the full potential of multi-color and multi-material 3D printing for compatible Bambu Lab printers. It is an intelligent system designed to seamlessly feed and switch between different filaments during a print, enabling the creation of models with stunning, intricate detail and diverse material properties.

Compatibility
Crucial Note: It is very important to check compatibility before purchasing.
Compatible Printers: The AMS is compatible with the Bambu Lab X1 Series (X1, X1-Carbon) and P1 Series (P1P, P1S) printers.
Multiple Units: To connect 2, 3, or 4 AMS units together, a separate AMS Hub is required.

Filament Capacity: 4 Spools

Supported Filament: PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, PET, PA, PC, PP, POM, HIPS and Bambu PLA-CF/ PETG-CF.

Unsupported Filament: TPE, TPU, PVA, Bambu PET-CF/ PAHT-CF/ PACF, and filaments from other brands containing carbon or glass fibers are not recommended as they can be too soft, brittle, or abrasive for the system.
